Watermark House Church Director
Position Purpose: House Church Director will be directly responsible for providing Christlike oversight, coordination, and care for the Watermark House Church network.
Reports to: Pastors and Elders
Position is: Part Time and Hourly Pay
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee house church network and house church related events.
Provide leadership development outlets and resources for hosts and potential hosts.
Meet regularly with house church leaders maintaining a healthy coaching relationship, including one on one meetings
Oversee general care and connections within the house church network
Coordinate/Schedule HC classes and trainings with pastoral staff.
Initiate house church host background checks
Coordinate with hosts on group discussion topics
Provide encouragement and spiritual direction to house church hosts and members.
Work with elders and/or pastoral staff to assist hosts on addressing challenging topics that spring up during house church gatherings.
Coordinate semi-annual house church launches.
Skills and Qualifications
Growing in their allegiance to King Jesus and maintaining a deepening relationship with the scriptures.
Follower of Jesus the Messiah and seeking the will of God in his/her life.
Maintains a vital and growing walk with the Lord, which is clearly reflected through his/her lifestyle.
Actively engages in Bible study, prayer and stewardship of God-given resources.
Demonstrates a servant’s heart as a member of Watermark and a member of Watermark staff
Maintains proper priorities and balance in his/her life.
Regular in-person attendance - we request that you be present at staff meetings, governing board meetings and Sunday mornings in-person as much as possible.
